Traversée du Fantasme was a retrospective of work by Swedish composer, philosopher, poet, mathematician, and visual artist Catherine Christer Hennix (b. 1948), her first institutional solo exhibition since 1976. Staged at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, from February 16 through May 27, 2018, Traversée du Fantasme was curated by Lawrence Kumpf, Artistic Director of Blank Forms, and Karen Archey, Curator of Contemporary Art and Time-based Media at the Stedelijk. The exhibition was generously supported by Empty Gallery, Hong Kong.
