Extensions Out: An exhibition to benefit Blank Forms

Featuring work by Richard Aldrich, Olga Balema, Camille Blatrix, Julien Ceccaldi, Leidy Churchman, Ann Craven, Christina Forrer, Hanna Hur, Robert Janitz, Sanya Kantarovsky, Monique Mouton, Kate Spencer Stewart, and Terry Winters.

Blank Forms is pleased to present “Extensions Out,” our third annual benefit exhibition, organized with board vice chair Hannah Hoffman, curatorial advisory board member Sanya Kantarovsky, and Luhring Augustine. Originally on display from November 2 to 5 at Luhring Augstine’s Tribeca location and now continuing in our online viewing room through the end of the year, “Extensions Out” includes works by thirteen artists, many of whom are friends or collaborators of Blank Forms. Taking its title from a rare 1972 volume of poetry by polymath jazz composer Sun Ra, the exhibition celebrates and sustains mutual affinities traversing music, literature, and visual art.
